I have specialized in orthopaedics and sports physiotherapy since 2009. Prior to this, I gained extensive experience in acute inpatient wards, managing complex neurological and cardiopulmonary cases. This medical background remains a vital part of my practice today; it makes me a safer, more thorough clinician with a deep understanding of the physiological complexities that can underlie physical injuries.
Over nearly two decades, I have worked across the full spectrum of recovery. My experience ranges from triaging acute injuries in Accident & Emergency and managing orthopaedic rehabilitation from day one in the wards, to supporting elite athletes at the SEA Games. This breadth of care has reinforced my belief that whether you are a professional athlete or an active individual, the goal remains the same: to move beyond “healing” and return to high-level performance.
In 2011, the SingHealth HMDP award allowed me to travel to Australia for specialised training in complex shoulder post-surgical rehabilitation. I later completed my Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2014. These milestones sharpened my clinical precision and grounded my practice in evidence-based management.
Today, my work is centered on helping you regain pain-free movement and return to the activities you love. I believe every recovery plan must be as targeted and precise as it is personal.
In the posts below, I’ll be sharing insights gathered from my years in the field—covering everything from post-surgical essentials and sports injury recovery to practical strategies for active, pain-free living.
